Recall repair did not solve the camera problem. Rear camera and parking assist camera's do not come on. When car is shifted into reverse, camera does not appear. This issue was already reported and I have completed the recall maintenance for this issue and the problem still persists. This is a massive safety liability. While putting my car in reverse my backup camera froze and then went completely black. I have tried the hard and soft reset with no luck. You can hear the infotainment system trying to load over and over again with a black screen. While researching, I see there was a previous recall for this exact problem that required a software update which mine had right before I bought it used less than a year ago. Front driver seat belt does not retract and has caused damage to door. Vehicle is available for inspection. We are worried that the seatbelt will not function properly in an accident since is does not function properly now. No confirmation by dealer, going in next week for service, however, dealer representative did say on phone that Mitsibishi s don't have seat belt problems??? 2 issues contributed to accident: 1st - Vehicle did not go into Park when button on gear shift was pushed. Driver did not notice that vehicle remained in Drive and exited the vehicle. 2nd - Vehicle did not automatically engage the emergency brake/park mode it is designed to do when Vehicle is in drive and driver door opens.
